Monday, October 26, 2026 · City · GSM News

The Dallas-Fort Worth region, which includes Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, has a full slate of municipal agendas this week. According to an October 26 roundup by agenda-tracking outlet AgendaWire, the four most closely watched municipal agendas this week come from the Plano City Council on October 26, the Fort Worth and Denton city councils on October 27, and the Dallas City Council on October 28.

Dallas has two agenda items on Klyde Warren Park Phase 2, including an interlocal agreement amendment that would raise the regional Surface Transportation Block Grant funding for the park expansion project from $30 million to $44,648,437. Denton will hold a second public hearing and a first reading of a proposed data center moratorium; staff have proposed December 1 for the second reading and council consideration.

Fort Worth will hold a public hearing on a ten-year tax abatement for a semiconductor testing company at 273 W. Everman Road, along with a $16,040,906 construction management contract for the Mary's Creek wastewater project. All of the above are agenda-stage matters published by officials; final outcomes rest with each city council's decisions, and residents can find meeting livestreams and records on each city's website.
