By gender, turnout was 28% among women and 25% among men. By age, turnout rose with age: 12% for the 18-24 group, and 53% for both the 75-79 and 80-84 groups. Early voting in Georgia began on October 13 and ends October 30; Election Day is November 3.
The Center for Civic Innovation noted that the figures come from the Secretary of State's ballot file statistics and reflect early voting progress as of October 25; voters may still vote at any early voting location in their county during the early voting period.
