New Psychological Evaluation Practice Opens in Sacramento; Autism and ADHD Assessments With No Waitlist

In Sacramento, Sacramento County, California, on October 26, Avenir Psychology, founded by licensed psychologist Dr. Isha Hammad, announced its opening in Sacramento, offering comprehensive psychological evaluations for families from toddlers through young adults covering autism, ADHD, learning disabilities (including dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia) and developmental delays, as well as testing-accommodation evaluations for standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT and MCAT — with no waitlist, and most families able to schedule an evaluation within one to two weeks.
Dr. Hammad said many families often wait months for the evaluation results that determine what support their child receives, and that she founded the practice so Sacramento families can get answers quickly without sacrificing the thoroughness of the evaluation. Each evaluation includes a feedback session explaining the results in plain language and a written report with practical recommendations, delivered within two weeks of completing testing.
Dr. Hammad earned her doctorate in school psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, completed her clinical internship at UC Davis Health, and previously helped build the clinical operations of Sutter Medical Group's autism assessment clinic.
