The LYCRA Company Brings Functional Fabric Innovations to Portland Fabric Fair

In Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, The LYCRA Company announced on October 26 that it will showcase high-performance innovations for next-generation outdoor, lifestyle, activewear and workwear textiles at the Functional Fabric Fair, to be held October 27-28 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
Highlights on display include the moisture-management and sweat-concealment technology of COOLMAX CloakFX fiber in woven and knitted fabrics, and the stretch and comfort performance of LYCRA ADAPTIV and LYCRA FiT400 fibers across applications. Tara Maurer-Mackay, the company's category director for brand specialty products, said that at this October's Functional Fabric Fair the company is leading with performance solutions for knit and woven applications — from moisture management and sweat concealment to lasting stretch and adaptive comfort — helping mills, garment makers and brands meet consumer expectations for comfort, fit, durability, protection and performance. Visitors can view fabric samples using the company's fiber innovations at the show.
