New York City Early Voting Continues on October 26; Chinese-Language Ballot Materials Available to Chinese Voters

In New York City, New York County, New York State, early voting for New York City's 2026 general election continued on October 26, with polling places open that day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. According to the schedule published by the New York City Board of Elections, the early voting period runs from October 24 to November 1; hours extend to 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on October 27 and 28; and Election Day is November 3, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The New York City Board of Elections provides multilingual ballot materials and assistance, including in Chinese; Chinese voters can use the Board's website to look up their assigned early voting site and view a sample ballot, and language should not be a barrier to voting. Voters can also register to vote or update their registration during the early voting period.
The Board reminds voters that their early voting site may differ from their Election Day polling place, and they should check before setting out to avoid going to the wrong location. Chinese community organizations also remind voters to look up their polling place in advance and bring proper identification documents.
