Third Vinitaly.USA Opens Today and Tomorrow at New York's Pier 36

Pier 36 in Manhattan, New York City, New York County, New York State, welcomed the third Vinitaly.USA Italian wine exhibition on October 26. According to the organizer's announcement, the show runs October 26-27, is co-hosted by Veronafiere and the Italian Trade Agency, was held in Chicago for its first two editions, and moves to New York for the first time this year.
New York State accounts for 6.5% of total U.S. wine consumption; it is the third-largest market in the United States and the largest in the Northeast, and the state has 930 Italian restaurants. The organizer said the show is aimed at producers, industry associations, importers, distributors, hospitality operators and institutional stakeholders, focuses on quality, content and long-term relationships, and aims to advance Italian wine in the U.S. market.
Veronafiere president Federico Bricolo said New York, as one of the main decision-making centers of the U.S. wine market, will further raise the show's ability to connect with the industry's decision-making level. Tastings, forums and business matchmaking will also be held during the show, building a direct exchange platform for Italian wine producers and U.S. buyers and bringing new sourcing options to New York's restaurant industry.
