Monday, October 26, 2026 · City · GSM News

Early voting in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, entered a new week on October 26. According to the schedule published by the Boston Elections Department, the early voting period runs from October 17 to October 30, and Boston City Hall, as a main voting site, was open on October 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for voters to cast ballots.

The Elections Department reminds registered voters that they may vote at any early voting site during the early voting period and do not need to go to their assigned precinct location; City Hall voters should use the north entrance on Congress Street, near the Haymarket subway station. During the early voting period, voters can also register to vote or update their registration at voting sites.

The deadline to apply for a mail ballot is 5 p.m. on October 27; mailed ballots must arrive by Election Day, November 3, or be postmarked by November 3 and arrive by 5 p.m. on November 6. On Election Day, November 3, Boston voters must vote at their own precinct polling places, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Chinese voters in Boston's Chinatown and nearby areas can use the early voting period to vote nearby; polling place information is available on the City of Boston website.
