Los Angeles City Clerk Launches New Legislative Management System: Council Files, Agendas and Public Comment in One Place
In Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, the Office of the City Clerk launched its new Legislative Management System (LMS) on October 26 at lms.lacity.gov, replacing the former Council File Management System (CFMS).
The new system integrates the council file library, the agenda library, a public comment portal and agenda subscriptions, letting residents read council documents, submit comments and follow agenda updates in one place. City Clerk Patrice Lattimore said the system will improve the transparency and efficiency of the Clerk's office.
