Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Marks 10 Years With a Free Update on October 27: Final Festival of Universes Starts October 30, With Rewards Carrying Into Xenoverse 3 in 2027

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Dimps are marking the tenth anniversary of DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2, first released on October 25, 2016: a free update arrives on October 27, and the Final Festival of Universes begins on October 30.
The October 27 free update brings new Login Bonus Rewards and Special Costumes, plus an update to the Gallery of Time, which can be unlocked by purchasing the DLC 'FUTURE SAGA Chapter 4'.
During the Final Festival of Universes, starting October 30, hard-to-obtain items will return, and players will be able to earn 25 times more Star Coins than usual, making it easier to exchange them for rewards. Players can raise their camaraderie level with one of three companions — Trunks, the Supreme Kai of Time or Fu — to unlock special illustrations. Taking part can also grant a new Gi created specially for the occasion, as well as a commemorative medal.
Those items reach into the sequel: once DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 becomes available in 2027, possessing the Gi or the medal will allow players to unlock special items in the new game by linking their Bandai Namco ID.
DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Bandai Namco has posted an official tenth-anniversary video on its site.
