Nintendo Switch Online Game Boy Library Adds Three Games on October 27: Mole Mania, Avenging Spirit and Revenge of the 'Gator
Nintendo has announced three new additions to the Game Boy library on Nintendo Switch Online, all releasing on October 27: Mole Mania, Avenging Spirit, and Revenge of the 'Gator. Nintendo is also allowing players to start a free seven-day trial of Nintendo Switch Online even if they have previously used one.
In Mole Mania, players guide Muddy Mole through puzzle levels, pushing, pulling or throwing black balls to defeat or trap enemies, blasting exits and burrowing through soft soil to reach the next level, defeating bosses to reunite Muddy with his family. A two-player VS Mode has players alternate between attacking as Muddy and defending as Jinbe, competing on cabbages dropped.
Avenging Spirit is an action game with a possession mechanic: the hero, gunned down by an evil syndicate while walking with his girlfriend, returns as a ghost who can possess and control other characters across six stages to rescue her. Revenge of the 'Gator is a pinball game played across four main and three bonus stages, with solo high-score play and two-player modes.
All three are Game Boy-era titles, now playable by subscribers through the Game Boy Classics app on Switch and Switch 2.
