Richardson, Dallas County, Texas — The Global Chamber's Dallas-Fort Worth chapter held its "State of the International Metro: Global Business" event on October 27 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Room 118 of Sabine Hall on Dallas College's Richland Campus, with Richardson Mayor Amir Omar as the featured speaker.

The in-person event, hosted by Stephanie Austin, executive director of Global Chamber Dallas-Fort Worth, explored how local leadership connects with international business opportunities and Richardson's role in the Dallas-Fort Worth global business landscape.

As the Dallas-Fort Worth region's position in the global economy continues to rise, dialogue linking local leadership with international business opportunities is increasingly important. Drawing on his experience in both business and public service, Omar shared Richardson's experience in attracting international companies and participating in global supply chains.
