New Hampshire: Two Adults Found Dead and 8-Year-Old Boy Shot in Manchester Home; Police Investigating Possible Murder-Suicide
MANCHESTER, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire — At about 9:34 a.m. on October 27, police responding to a welfare check at a home on Wheelock Street found an adult woman and an adult man dead at the scene. The woman had multiple gunshot wounds and the man a single gunshot wound to the head. An 8-year-old boy in the home had been shot in the torso and was taken to a regional trauma center in stable condition.
The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office said police are investigating the case as a potential murder-suicide; no final determination has been made. The names of the two adults will be released after autopsies and notification of family. Police said there is no known threat to the public. Identifying information about the injured child is not being released.
