PITTSTON TOWNSHIP, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania — The state House Majority Policy Committee held a roundtable and plant tour on October 27 at Pittston Co-Packers, an automated beverage co-packing company. The company rebuilt on the site of a plant that closed in the winter of 2024 and has created 180 jobs since opening.
The event was hosted by state Representative Jim Haddock, with Representative Ryan Bizzarro among those speaking, and company CEO John Holzemer leading the tour. The House's official release described the project as a local example of reusing an old industrial plant.
