Utah Jazz's Jaren Jackson Jr. Suffers Torn Right MCL: No Surgery, Expected to Miss 6 to 8 Weeks

SALT LAKE CITY, Salt Lake County, Utah — The Utah Jazz announced on October 27 that forward Jaren Jackson Jr. has a torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his right knee. He will not need surgery, will be re-evaluated in six weeks, and is expected to miss 6 to 8 weeks.
Jackson was injured early in the second quarter of the Jazz's 105-110 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on October 26, when Grizzlies guard Ty Jerome fell into his right knee. His return will depend on the re-evaluation.
