Warner Bros. Pictures released the final trailer for the science-fiction film Dune: Part Three on October 27, together with a new set of character posters: the film is set to open in North American theaters and IMAX on December 18, 2026, with international openings beginning December 16. It is the concluding chapter of director Denis Villeneuve's Dune trilogy, adapted from Frank Herbert's novel Dune Messiah and written by Villeneuve with Brian K. Vaughan.
The official synopsis released by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures says the story is set nearly two decades after Paul Atreides seized control of the Imperium: now Emperor, Paul must face the consequences of his reign as old allies return, new threats emerge and a conspiracy with Chani at its center unfolds. The cast includes Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Anya Taylor-Joy and Charlotte Rampling, with Robert Pattinson joining as the villain Scytale.
The final trailer gives a first look at Paul and Chani's twin children, Leto II and Ghanima, played by Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke. Portions of the film were shot for IMAX 70mm presentation. Warner Bros. said ticket sales have begun alongside the trailer release; box office and ticketing information is as announced by the studio.
