Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Adds Three Game Boy Advance Classics: Monster Rancher Advance, Metal Slug Advance and Kururin Paradise
Nintendo's October update for Nintendo Switch Online added three classics to the Game Boy Advance: Nintendo Classics library: Monster Rancher Advance, METAL SLUG ADVANCE and Kururin Paradise. Members of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack can play the three Game Boy Advance titles on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
The three games come from different makers: Monster Rancher Advance, released by KOEI TECMO in 2001, has players raise monsters and take them into battle; METAL SLUG ADVANCE, from SNK, is the run-and-gun series' handheld entry; and Kururin Paradise, released by Nintendo and EIGHTING in 2002, has players steer a spinning craft through its stages. Nintendo's official update page lists the three under the Expansion Pack tier, distinct from the Game Boy library available with a base membership.
Nintendo also noted that players without a membership can start a free 7-day Nintendo Switch Online trial; the trial automatically converts to a 1-month auto-renewing membership at the then-current price unless canceled, and cannot be redeemed by an account with an active Individual or Family Membership. The full classics library and each title's membership tier are listed on Nintendo's official Nintendo Switch Online pages.
