Two Dolphins Enter Concussion Protocol: Tackle Kadyn Proctor and Cornerback JuJu Brents Questionable Against the Patriots

MIAMI, Miami-Dade County, Florida — Miami Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said on October 28 that left tackle Kadyn Proctor and cornerback JuJu Brents are both in the NFL concussion protocol, leaving their status in doubt for the next game against the New England Patriots.
Hafley said Proctor did not take part in team drills that day, while Brents worked on the side with a trainer. Proctor, this year's first-round rookie, has not allowed a sack through the season's first six games; Jarrett Kingston took his place in the practice lineup. Brents, claimed by Miami from the Indianapolis Colts, has not allowed a touchdown in 13 games this season; if he cannot play, Jaylin Simpson is in line for more snaps. The league's official injury report the same day listed Proctor (concussion) and Brents (neck/concussion) as did-not-participate.
The Dolphins are coming off their first win of the season. Under the league protocol, both players must clear every step of the evaluation process before returning.
