Las Vegas Chinatown: 26 Businesses Approved for Spring Mountain Corridor Grants of Up to $75,000 Each

LAS VEGAS, Clark County, Nevada — Clark County has approved 26 businesses for the Inspiring Spring Mountain Corridor Improvement Grant Program in Las Vegas's Chinatown, out of 38 applications received, with each approved property eligible for up to $75,000 in matching grant funds for exterior improvements.
The program, a signature initiative of the Clark County Redevelopment Agency, has $1.5 million allocated in total. It provides financial assistance to property owners and commercial tenants in the Chinatown/Spring Mountain Cultural Corridor redevelopment area to make visible, lasting exterior improvements when no other reasonable means of financing is available.
County materials say funded projects are expected to encourage new small businesses and support existing legacy businesses, create jobs, improve safety, lighting and mobility, and catalyze reinvestment in nearby properties.
