Denver Broncos Sign WR Eli Pancol to Practice Squad, Release DB Ugo Amadi

ENGLEWOOD, Arapahoe County, Colorado — The Denver Broncos announced Oct. 27 that they signed wide receiver Eli Pancol to their practice squad and released defensive back Ugo Amadi from the practice squad. The club's 53-man roster and 17-player practice squad are both full going into the Week 8 game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Pancol, 26, is 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Duke with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2025 and spent time on the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad in 2025 and 2026, but has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game. He caught four passes for 47 yards for Indianapolis this preseason, and in five seasons at Duke he caught 130 passes for 1,710 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Amadi, 29, joined Denver after cornerbacks Pat Surtain (ankle) and Riley Moss (ribs) were injured in Week 4. With Moss back in the lineup and Surtain on the mend, Denver released Amadi to add Pancol.
