Collegium Pharmaceutical in Stoughton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts Expands Partnership with Boston Legacy FC on October 29: Building Sports Support for Neurodivergent Children

Stoughton, Norfolk County, Massachusetts: Stoughton-based Collegium Pharmaceutical announced on October 29 an expanded multi-year partnership with Boston Legacy FC, Boston's professional women's soccer club, deepening its investment in the Boston community and creating more opportunities for neurodivergent children and their families, including children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
Building on their existing Collegium Sensory Room collaboration, the partners will help youth soccer coaches better support neurodivergent children, and will bring families, experts and community leaders together at the annual 'Collegium Summit: Sports for All' to explore how to make sports more inclusive and accessible. The work will also extend beyond match days into communities across Massachusetts, deepening Collegium's local commitment ahead of its headquarters move to Boston in early 2027.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 10.5 percent of U.S. children aged 3 to 17, roughly 6.5 million children, have been diagnosed with ADHD, and research shows these children participate and succeed in youth sports at lower rates. The partners said the new programs aim to help coaches better welcome and support these children.
