Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds released the final report of the Governor's Medicaid Fraud Elimination Task Force on October 29, offering five main recommendations: strengthen the state Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, improve public awareness of and reporting channels for Medicaid fraud, reinforce quality and program integrity for high-risk Medicaid services, maximize the use of technology and data analytics, and strengthen managed-care organizations' network management.

Task force members include Larry Johnson, chief deputy director of the Department of Health and Human Services; Lee Grossman, the state Medicaid director; Aaron Baack, interim director of the Department of Inspections, Appeals and Licensing; Jeremy Ingram, director of the state Medicaid Fraud Control Unit; and Steve Bayens, commissioner of the Department of Public Safety.
