LaMelo Ball Lists Uptown Charlotte Condo for $2.6 Million After Summer Trade to Timberwolves

A downtown Charlotte condo tied to former Hornets star LaMelo Ball was listed for sale on Oct. 29 at $2.6 million, in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
Ball was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in July, ending six seasons with the Hornets. The condo is in The Trust, an Uptown building with just seven private residences; it spans about 3,495 square feet with four bedrooms, sits near the Hornets' Spectrum Center, and is listed by Erika Mendoza of Coldwell Banker Realty.
Ball first rented the unit from former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and bought it from Newton in 2024 for $2.47 million in an off-market deal. The building was built in 1967 and later converted into an upscale residential destination, with soaring ceilings and expansive windows bringing in natural light.
