Chicago, Cook County, Illinois: The Midwest's Largest Construction Show Runs October 28-29 at McCormick Place, Adding HVACR and Fire Safety Zones

The Chicago Build Expo was held October 28-29 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. It is the Midwest's largest construction and design show, attracting thousands of contractors, engineers, architects, developers and building professionals.
This year's show introduced a dedicated HVACR Zone, bringing together equipment, technology and software platforms across heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, with a dedicated conference track covering HVACR innovation, building performance, system efficiency, installation best practices and the role of HVACR systems in supporting energy and sustainability goals. All sessions were free to attend.
The show also launched a new Fire Safety and Security Zone, showcasing fire protection systems, surveillance technology, access control and building safety solutions, with a dedicated track on fire safety regulations, risk management, security technology and integrated safety systems.
The zones are aimed at HVACR contractors and technicians, mechanical and building services engineers, facilities and building managers, property developers, architects and design consultants, distributors and procurement professionals. Organizers said the zones let visitors connect with suppliers and industry experts in one focused area and learn the latest practices in building services.
