Atari Hotels Breaks Ground on First Location on Phoenix's Roosevelt Row, Targeting Completion in Late 2028 to Early 2029
Atari Hotels announced on Oct. 29 that its first immersive entertainment and hotel project has officially broken ground in Phoenix's Roosevelt Row district, targeting completion in late 2028 to early 2029. Developed by Intersection Development, the project is positioned as a new kind of hotel for fans of gaming, pop culture and sports.
The Phoenix property will combine nostalgic culture with future technology, featuring high-tech guest rooms, creator studios and an esports and concert venue seating more than 2,000 people. The developer said the first phase of construction focuses on demolishing existing structures and grading the site to prepare for the hotel foundation, with the second phase to follow soon after.
Intersection Development is a Phoenix-based real estate developer focused on quality commercial properties blending art, architecture and forward-looking design. Atari Hotels said the Phoenix flagship is the starting point of its plan to reimagine hospitality as an immersive entertainment experience, with more cities to follow.
