The Seattle Mariners announced on October 29 that they have exercised closer Andres Munoz's 9-million-dollar club option for 2027, while declining right-hander Bryce Miller's 6.075-million-dollar option and outfielder Victor Robles's 9-million-dollar option. Munoz endured his toughest season with Seattle, recording 28 saves but tying for the major-league lead with 10 blown saves and a career-worst 4.24 ERA; he has 105 career saves for the Mariners and is a two-time All-Star.

Miller remains under club control through 2029 and is eligible for salary arbitration after going 4-10 with a 4.17 ERA in 22 appearances, 21 of them starts. Robles will receive a 500,000-dollar buyout and joins Randy Arozarena and Taylor Ward, among others, as a free agent. The Mariners also claimed outfielder Grant McCray off waivers from the San Francisco Giants as they continue reshaping the roster for 2027.
