Thursday, October 29, 2026 · City · GSM News

Early voting in Dallas County ends on Friday, October 30, and October 29 is the next-to-last day: voters who have not yet cast a ballot can still vote on October 30 at any early voting location in the county. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dallas County early voting began on October 19; hours were 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturday, October 24, noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from October 26 to 30. Registered Dallas County voters may vote at any vote center in the county rather than an assigned polling place, and must show a Texas-accepted photo ID.

Asian American voter organizations remind voters that help is available through election protection hotlines if they run into difficulty voting: the Asian-language hotline is 888-API-VOTE (888-274-8683), the English hotline is 866-OUR-VOTE, and the Spanish hotline is 888-VE-Y-VOTA. Voting resources published by Asian Texans for Justice also remind voters to check their registration status in advance at VoteTexas.gov and to find early voting locations and hours on the Dallas County elections office website. The Dallas County ballot covers federal and state offices including U.S. senator, U.S. representative and governor, and voters should review their sample ballot before heading out.
