Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas: Hospitality Conference Renamed and Registration Opens Oct. 29; 2028 Edition Set for March 22 at Gaylord Texan in North Texas

NEWH, Inc., the global hospitality network, announced on October 29 that its biennial Leadership Conference has been renamed the NEWH Connect Conference, and that registration has opened for the 2028 edition. The 2028 conference will be held March 22–24, 2028, at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, at 1501 Gaylord Trail, about 10 minutes from Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport. The three-day program runs across three tracks — professional development, industry knowledge and personal development — and the full agenda and speaker lineup will be released in stages beginning in mid-2027.
On the conference's first day, POWERtalk LIVE will pair vendors with senior hospitality decision-makers in a full day of pre-scheduled 15-minute meetings. Organizers said the new name is meant to highlight the conference's networking purpose rather than one-way instruction alone. NEWH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the hospitality industry, with a mission spanning scholarships, education, leadership development, recognition of excellence and business development. North Texas is one of the country's major hospitality hubs, and the Gaylord Texan is a large convention venue in the Dallas–Fort Worth area; the 2028 edition is expected to bring visitor traffic to local hotels, restaurants and convention services.
