Get Covered New Jersey Open Enrollment Kicks Off November 1 for the 2027 Plan Year

Get Covered New Jersey, the state's official health insurance marketplace, kicks off open enrollment for the 2027 plan year on November 1, with expanded outreach and enrollment assistance, the Sherrill Administration announced; the enrollment window runs through January 31, 2027, according to the October 29 NewsWire compiled by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
Residents can view available 2027 health plans, compare costs and see whether they qualify for financial help now, even before the enrollment window opens, using the Get Covered New Jersey Shop and Compare tool; with only a ZIP code, birth date and income, consumers can see available plans and an estimate of the financial help they may qualify for.
“Despite the federal government's devastating cuts, financial support is still available to consumers who qualify,” said Acting Commissioner Susan Ochs. “The GetCoveredNJ team and our community partners are here to help New Jerseyans compare their options and get enrolled in quality coverage to protect themselves and their families.”
