Indiana: Gov. Braun Grows Jobs in Elkhart County With New RV Manufacturer

Friday, October 30, 2026 · States · GSM News

Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced on October 28 that Boundless Recreation, a newly founded RV manufacturer, has launched operations in Bristol, Elkhart County, Indiana, investing $2 million in a 104,000-square-foot facility at 705 Maple St.

Founded in 2025 by RV industry veterans, the company started initial production in October, building fifth wheels first with travel trailers to follow. It has already hired 45 employees and plans to add up to 115 new high-wage jobs by the end of 2028, with new positions expected to pay on average 125 percent of the Elkhart County average wage.

The South Bend-Elkhart region around Bristol is the center of North American RV manufacturing, producing roughly 80 to 88 percent of all RVs made in the United States and Canada.

Braun and Secretary of Commerce Chuck Goodrich said the company's choice of Elkhart County underlines the region's cluster advantages in RV supply chains, skilled labor and logistics.

Boundless Recreation founder and president Nate Nickell said the company was drawn by the area's decades of RV-building experience and its complete supplier network, and that production will ramp up with demand.
