Las Vegas Unveils Chinatown Art Bus: 61 Utility Box Murals Line Spring Mountain

Clark County unveiled a custom-wrapped double-decker bus for Las Vegas's Chinatown on October 23 and hosted a Chinatown art crawl along Spring Mountain Road, showcasing more than 60 murals and utility box paintings; related programming continued into the Halloween week of October 30.
The bus wrap, titled 'Chinatown Day and Night' and designed by local artist Loisse Ledres, pairs a daytime scene on one side with a nighttime scene on the other, depicting the district's food, entertainment and street life. The bus will run on the Las Vegas Strip for the next 12 months to promote Chinatown. The art crawl, organized by Commissioner Justin Jones, the county Redevelopment Agency and the county Public Arts Office, covered 61 utility box murals created through the Chinatown Mural Art Project and the 'ZAP! Spring Mountain' initiative by 13 Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander artists, along Spring Mountain Road from Rainbow Boulevard to Decatur Boulevard.
County data show Chinatown drew 24.3 million non-resident visits from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026, up 4% year over year.
