Florida: Dolphins Close Month of Service at Hard Rock Stadium; More Than 650 Volunteers Reached Nearly 65,000 People

Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida — The Miami Dolphins closed out their fourth annual Football UNITES Jason Jenkins Days of Service month on Oct. 30 with a block-party-style celebration at Hard Rock Stadium, on what would have been the late team senior vice president Jason Jenkins's 52nd birthday, the team announced.
The month-long initiative honors Jenkins's life and community leadership and this year focused on high-impact service projects across South Florida. According to the team, more than 650 volunteers took part in 12 community service projects in 2026, reaching nearly 65,000 people, including communities in South Florida and those affected by earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia. At the Oct. 30 finale, Dolphins staff and volunteers sorted fresh produce, distributed hot meals to families in need, sorted donated books for the Books For You Miami program and packed hygiene kits for boys in Palm Beach County schools.
The team said the service month has now run for four years and has cumulatively reached more than 181,000 people, becoming a signature part of the Dolphins' community work.
