Florida: University of South Florida Announces Multi-Year Partnership With Tampa Tech Firm Imperium Data for New Stadium Wi-Fi

Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida — The University of South Florida's athletics department announced on Oct. 30 a multi-year partnership with Tampa technology company Imperium Data.
As one of the founding partners of USF's new on-campus stadium, Imperium Data will play a key role in the wireless network experience at the venue when it opens in the fall of 2027. Rob Higgins, the department's chief executive of athletics, said he was glad the Tampa-based tech company had joined the Bulls' corporate partner family. Beyond providing wireless and network services to the expanded Bulls athletics district, Imperium Data will be integrated into fan-engagement features at games and events across the university's 21 athletics programs, joining a growing partner roster.
Imperium Data is a nationally recognized technology solutions firm, listed on the Inc. 5000, a CRN Triple Crown recipient and a 2026 CRN Security MSP 100 honoree, providing critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services and operational solutions to telecommunications, higher education, mid-market enterprises and institutions. USF said the new stadium is an important step in its athletics development and that the partnership will give fans a better game-day experience.
