Delaware Elections Department Issues Voting Alert on October 30: Early Voting Ends at 7 P.M. on November 1, Polls Open 7 A.M. to 8 P.M. on November 3

Dover, Kent County, Delaware — The Delaware Department of Elections issued a voting alert on October 30: early voting for the 2026 General Election ends at 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, with polling places statewide open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On Election Day, registered voters must vote at the polling place assigned to their election district. Voters can find their assigned polling place by entering their street address in the state's polling place locator or through the state voter portal.
The voter registration deadline for the 2026 General Election was October 10, and residents registered by then may vote regardless of party affiliation. The department noted that early voting and Election Day follow different location rules: during early voting, voters may use a convenient early voting site, but on Election Day they must go to their assigned polling place.
State election officials, together with the governor and the attorney general, have also reminded voters of their voting rights, and voters needing help can find information on the department's website. The November 3 midterm election will decide control of both houses of Congress and many state and local offices.
