Horror RPG 'Look Outside' Launches Today on PlayStation and Switch for $9.99, With an Official Launch Trailer
Publisher Devolver Digital announced that the survival horror role-playing game Look Outside is now available, as of October 30, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, priced at $9.99, with an official launch trailer released alongside it.
Look Outside was developed by Francis Coulombe and first launched on PC in 2025. Devolver Digital says the horror RPG is set in a single apartment building: a mysterious event turns anyone who looks out the window into a grotesque monster, and players explore the building to seek food, supplies and weapons.
Inside the building, players encounter strange non-player characters and fight monsters that were once their neighbors. Returning to their apartment with gathered resources and partial answers, players can make dinner, craft tools and play games to recuperate, and get to know the few allies they can bring to their side.
Devolver Digital says the game is rated Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam and quotes critics calling it an unforgettable horror RPG. The console launch covers the PlayStation and Nintendo Switch families; the announcement did not mention an Xbox version.
