Film: Eetha Official Trailer Released: Shraddha Kapoor Brings Lavani Legend Vithabai to the Screen, in Theaters December 4
Maddock Films released the official trailer for the biographical musical Eetha on its official channel on October 30. The film is set to open in theaters on December 4. The trailer runs about three minutes, and Indian media reported that it passed 203,000 views within its first hour. The release follows the producers' earlier Lavani-look poster of the lead actor and a character poster for Randeep Hooda.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Eetha is inspired by the life of Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, the legendary Maharashtra folk performer known for Lavani and Tamasha. Shraddha Kapoor plays Vithabai, alongside Randeep Hooda, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Anant Joshi and Siddharth Jadhav.
The film is produced by Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations, with music by Ajay-Atul and choreography by Vaibhavi Merchant. The full trailer presents the story's outline and its main characters together for the first time.
