First Evangelical Church Glendale Hosts Harvest Festival as Family Halloween Alternative
In Glendale, Los Angeles County, California, the First Evangelical Church of Glendale hosted a Harvest Festival on October 31 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the church's east parking lot, offering families a family-friendly alternative to Halloween.
The church listed the event address as 522 West Broadway in Glendale and invited families, friends and neighbors to attend. Contacts for the event were Kenny Wong and Pastor Tim Xu.
Harvest festivals are a fall tradition for many churches, providing a safe holiday setting for children. This year's event was scheduled in the afternoon so families could take part before dark.
