Auria to Invest $1.8 Million to Establish East Coast Headquarters in Reston, Virginia: 78 New Jobs

In Reston, Fairfax County, Virginia, Governor Abigail Spanberger announced that Auria, a national security and aerospace defense company, will invest $1.8 million to establish its East Coast headquarters in Reston, Fairfax County, creating 78 new jobs in the Commonwealth.
Auria will use the facility to provide greater market access to key government and commercial clients in the space, satellite and mission systems fields. The governor said she is proud to welcome Auria's East Coast headquarters and that the decision reflects confidence in the state's business environment and strategic location. Secretary of Commerce and Trade Carrie H. Chenery said that by choosing Reston, Auria is positioning itself closer to the customers and partners shaping the future of space, satellite and mission systems. Auria Chief Executive Officer Damian DiPippa said Northern Virginia is rapidly becoming Auria's largest employment footprint, making Reston the natural choice to complement its existing Warrenton operations.
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority to secure the project for Virginia and will support Auria's job creation through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program, which supports employee recruitment and training. The governor recently celebrated Virginia's rise to No. 3 in CNBC's “America's Top States for Business” rankings.
