Delaware State Stuns Norfolk State 36-33 with a 35-Yard Field Goal at the Gun after Trailing by 17

Delaware State University's Hornets staged a memorable comeback at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on October 31, beating Norfolk State University 36-33 in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference matchup.
The Hornets trailed by 17 points late in the third quarter, but former starting quarterback Marqui Adams threw touchdown passes of 5 and 20 yards and sparked the offense with his running, tying the game 33-33 with 7:47 remaining.
In the final moments, freshman kicker Matteo Bracalenti made a 35-yard field goal as time expired to seal the win. The game was held at the stadium for the second straight year to spotlight HBCU football; the two head coaches, DeSean Jackson and Michael Vick, are former Philadelphia Eagles teammates. Paid attendance was 32,567.
Delaware State improved to 5-4 overall and 1-1 in the conference; Norfolk State fell to 4-5 and 0-2.
