'Eternal Return' Official Trailer: Kit Harington's Cartographer Maps Routes Into the Past, in U.S. Theaters December 4

The fantasy romance "Eternal Return" has released its first official trailer. Starring Naomi Scott and Kit Harington, the film will be released by Quiver Distribution in select U.S. theaters on December 4, followed by a digital rollout. Quiver Distribution's official channel has published the full trailer video.
Scott plays Cass, a young woman who has shut herself off emotionally following heartbreak. On her 29th birthday she meets Virgil (Harington), an eccentric cartographer whose maps lead to places that should not exist. Virgil introduces her to the idea that the past, present and future may all exist simultaneously, and his elderly friend Malcolm (Simon Callow) is eager to test the theory by travelling back in time. Cass is not convinced at first, but before long she wants a map of her own.
The film is written and directed by Yaniv Raz, whose previous features include "Son of Morning" and "Dr. Bird's Advice for Sad Poets." The supporting cast includes Sonoya Mizuno, Jay Lycurgo and Simon Kunz, and Scott also serves as a producer.
"Eternal Return" premiered in the Special Presentations programme of the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025, after which Quiver Distribution acquired its North American rights.
In a statement released with the trailer, Raz said: "I grew up on films that trusted a little magic to tell the truth, stories where the impossible was simply the most honest way to say something real. Eternal Return is my map back to that kind of cinema, and to the people we lose and keep finding again."
