Days of Our Lives Actor Robert Kelker-Kelly's Cause of Death Revealed: Arteriosclerotic Heart Disease at 62

The Office of the Regional Medical Examiner in St. Charles, Missouri, confirmed to Page Six on Thursday that Days of Our Lives actor Robert Kelker-Kelly died of arteriosclerotic heart disease, Page Six reported.
Kelker-Kelly, who was 62, was found unconscious and not breathing on October 3 after reportedly experiencing chest pain. According to Kyle Gaines, division chief and public information officer for the St. Charles County Ambulance District, first responders were dispatched to the actor's home around 8:16 p.m. for a report of an adult male experiencing cardiac arrest. Paramedics attempted to revive him using advanced life-saving measures, but police and paramedics ultimately pronounced him dead at the scene. A 911 dispatch recording captured the efforts to save his life. Authorities noted at the time that there was nothing suspicious about his death.
Kelker-Kelly was best known for playing Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives from 1992 to 1995, taking over the role from Peter Reckell. He also appeared on other daytime dramas, including General Hospital and Another World.
He had made headlines earlier this year after former co-star Lisa Rinna accused him in her memoir of being the 'biggest bully in Hollywood,' alleging he was verbally abusive and manipulative while they worked together on the soap. Kelker-Kelly never publicly addressed her allegations.
The actor later stepped away from Hollywood and pursued a career as a professional pilot while also working as an acting coach. Kelker-Kelly was married to actress Miriam Parrish from 1997 until their divorce in 2013. He is survived by their daughter, Amelia Rose Kelly.
