TMZ Sports: Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson Quietly Broke Up Late Last Year
Bill Belichick, head football coach at the University of North Carolina, and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson quietly broke up late last year, TMZ Sports has learned, though neither let on publicly.
Sources close to Hudson with direct knowledge told TMZ Sports that the legendary coach and his much younger girlfriend ended their romance "late last year." Although they are no longer dating, the two reportedly remain "committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends." It is unclear what led to the breakup or who ended it. Another source told TMZ Sports that Hudson has started seeing other people, though her current relationship status is unknown.
TMZ Sports said it had reached out to both Belichick and Hudson and had not heard back.
Publicly, neither gave any sign of a split. The two appeared together at events all year, and on October 3 Hudson was on the sideline supporting Belichick at UNC's home game against Syracuse.
Belichick, 74, and Hudson, 25, met on a flight in February 2021 and began dating in 2022, though their romance did not become public until June 2024; their nearly 50-year age gap has drawn attention throughout. Hudson sparked controversy in April 2025 after interrupting Belichick's CBS "Sunday Morning" interview, which he later defended, and in September he dismissed claims that Hudson was trying to control UNC's football program in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.
