Colorado beat Kansas State 27-24 in overtime on October 31 at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado, snapping a five-game losing streak and earning its first Big 12 win of the season before a crowd of 46,325. Colorado fans stormed the field after the walk-off score.

Colorado then ran four straight times before Wilson hit tight end Charlie Williams on an 11-yard touchdown pass on third-and-9 to win the game, Williams' second game-winning touchdown of the year.
