No. 13 Texas Tech beat No. 22 Arizona 34-26 on October 31 in Lubbock, Texas, in a matchup pivotal to both teams' Big 12 title and College Football Playoff hopes.

Tommy Castellanos, starting over Will Hammond, threw two touchdown passes and ran for 117 yards and a score. J'Koby Williams ran 64 yards for a decisive touchdown and finished with 175 rushing yards.

The Red Raiders improved to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the Big 12, and tied a school record with their 13th consecutive home victory, a week after a loss to Cincinnati that led to Hammond being benched.

For Arizona, Noah Fifita finished with 417 passing yards, including a 94-yard touchdown to Isaiah Mizell, who had 182 receiving yards in his third consecutive game with at least 100. (Reporting by The Associated Press)
