November Visa Bulletin: Family Categories Jump About a Year

In November 2026, the green card priority dates in the U.S. Department of State's November Visa Bulletin became a focus of the Chinese community in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, with a local Chinese information site publishing an explainer. The month's biggest movement came in family immigration: the Final Action Dates (Chart A) and Dates for Filing (Chart B) of the F1, F2A, F2B, F3 and F4 categories advanced together by roughly a year. For applicants born in mainland China, in the family-sponsored Chart A, F1 moved from January 22, 2020 to January 22, 2021, an advance of 366 days; F2B moved from August 22, 2019 to August 22, 2020, also 366 days; F3 moved from October 22, 2014 to October 22, 2015, 365 days; and F4's Chart B advanced to November 1, 2012, up 366 days.
Employment-based categories were broadly steady. For mainland-China-born applicants, EB-1's Chart A advanced 31 days to August 1, 2023; EB-3's Chart A advanced 14 days to January 22, 2022; and EB-2 held unchanged at October 1, 2021. F2A's Chart B continues to show no backlog, but that does not mean a green card can be approved immediately; final approval remains governed by the Chart A date and other application requirements. Applicants checking their own priority dates and categories should rely on the State Department's official bulletin and USCIS announcements.
