这轮名为「The Soul of a New War Machine Tour」的巡演与Mushroomhead、Fear Factory同行,10月13日从康涅狄格州New Haven起跑,如今进入最后一周,剩余七站依次为:11月3日肯塔基州Lexington、11月5日德克萨斯州Houston、11月6日Austin、11月7日Corpus Christi、11月8日Dallas、11月10日伊利诺伊州Sauget,11月11日在田纳西州Nashville收官。
Come And Take It Live、Corpus Christi的Brewster Icehouse、Dallas的AM/FM、Sauget的Pop's与Nashville的Basement East。
Inner Mongolia's Nine Treasures Brings First U.S. Tour to Its Final Leg: Houston on Nov. 5, Nashville Finale Nov. 11
Chinese Inner Mongolian band Nine Treasures is on its first-ever U.S. tour. The run, titled The Soul of a New War Machine Tour and shared with Mushroomhead and Fear Factory, began Oct. 13 in New Haven, Connecticut, and now enters its final week. Seven dates remain: Nov. 3 in Lexington, Kentucky; Nov. 5 in Houston, Texas; Nov. 6 in Austin; Nov. 7 in Corpus Christi; Nov. 8 in Dallas; Nov. 10 in Sauget, Illinois; and a Nov. 11 finale in Nashville, Tennessee.
The venues, in order, are Manchester Music Hall in Lexington, Scout Bar in Houston, Come And Take It Live in Austin, Brewster Icehouse in Corpus Christi, AM/FM in Dallas, Pop's in Sauget and Basement East in Nashville. Texas hosts four of the seven remaining stops, the densest stretch of the tour's closing leg.
Formed by vocalist and guitarist Askhan in Inner Mongolia in 2010, Nine Treasures fuses heavy metal with traditional Mongolian music: Askhan delivers both conventional vocals and Mongolian throat singing, Nars plays the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle), and the tovshuur and balalaika collide with guitars, bass and drums. Their lyrics draw on Mongolian mythology and fairy tales, and the band's name itself comes from nine precious objects celebrated in ancient Mongolian poems. The band plays more than 100 festival and headlining shows a year in Asia, to audiences of up to 50,000.
The tour supports Seeking the Absolute, the band's first album for Metal Blade Records and its first LP with a worldwide release. "We tried to capture the things that truly excite us deep inside; those unforgettable moments when your mind swings wide open to infinite possibilities," Askhan says of the album. In their tour statement, the band said the United States has such a deep rock and metal culture, and many of the bands that inspired them come from there, and that they are excited and grateful to bring their music and culture to American fans.
