Project Angel Food Offers Tickets to the November 19 Performance of Oh, Mary!: Each Ticket Provides 50 Medically Tailored Meals
Los Angeles nonprofit Project Angel Food has announced that tickets purchased through the organization for the Thursday, November 19 performance of the Broadway comedy Oh, Mary! will each provide 50 free, medically tailored meals for seriously ill neighbors across Los Angeles County. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Ahmanson Theatre, 135 N. Grand Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90012, in the city of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.
Oh, Mary! is an irreverent 1865 White House farce about Mary Todd Lincoln scheming for a return to cabaret stardom while her husband frets over the Civil War. It was written by 2025 Tony Award winner Cole Escola and directed by 2025 Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton. The Los Angeles engagement runs November 10 through December 6 at the Ahmanson Theatre, and the November 19 performance is the one tied to Project Angel Food's ticket offer.

According to the organization, it has served 21 million meals since 1989 and currently serves about 2,800 clients per day, delivering some 130,000 meals per month.
