Monday, November 2, 2026 · City · GSM News

Sacramento, California's capital, will host the third annual Native American Heritage Month Parade on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the downtown area. The event is organized by the California Native American Legislative Caucus, and the public may watch free along the route.

Organizers say the parade will feature Native cultural presenters, floats, lowriders, horses and music; the parade route map is posted on the caucus website. Groups and individuals who wish to march must register in advance through the link on the caucus page.

The California Native American Legislative Caucus, made up of state lawmakers focused on Native affairs, works to promote Native culture and rights. November is National Native American Heritage Month, marked by commemorations across the country.

For information, contact the caucus office at [email protected] or (909) 889-7145. Downtown streets will be temporarily controlled during the parade, and spectators are encouraged to use light rail and other public transit.
