Sunshine Silver Joins Global Silver Miners Index After June NYSE Listing

Monday, November 2, 2026 · States · GSM News

Sunshine Silver Mining & Refining Company (NYSE: SSMR), based in Kellogg, Shoshone County, Idaho, announced on November 2 that its common stock will be added to the Solactive Global Silver Miners Index effective at market open that day. The company said the addition follows its June 4 debut on the New York Stock Exchange and marks another milestone for the company working to revive American silver production.

The Solactive Global Silver Miners Index tracks leading companies in silver exploration, mining and refining and generally includes 20 to 40 companies under its methodology. CEO Heather White said the inclusion reflects the foundation the company has built as a silver developer, noting that more than 90% of expected revenue at planned production is projected to come from silver, as the company works toward a targeted return to production in late 2028.

Sunshine is advancing the Sunshine Mine in Idaho's Silver Valley, the most prolific silver district in U.S. history and home to North America's highest-grade primary silver resource. Kellogg sits at the center of the Silver Valley in northern Idaho, where mining is the traditional economic mainstay.
