Hero-Themed Sandwich Shop Dragon Hero in Shaw to Close Permanently on November 5
In Washington, District of Columbia, Dragon Hero, the hero-themed sandwich shop at 2016 9th St NW in the Shaw neighborhood, will close permanently on November 5. Owner and chef Adam Campbell announced the decision on social media, saying the team was bidding the community farewell with heavy hearts and thanking neighbors and customers for their support.
Dragon Hero was co-founded by Campbell and his hometown friend William Brancati and is known for 12-inch sub sandwiches named after mythical and legendary heroes. The announcement gave no reason for the closure; the last day of service is November 5.
