In Atlanta, Fulton County, and across Georgia, Tuesday, November 3 is Election Day, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; voters in line by 7 p.m. are allowed to cast a ballot.

According to an Election Day guide published by Atlanta television station WSB-TV on the evening of November 2, voters must vote at their designated polling place on Election Day, and an early voting site is not necessarily their Election Day site; voters can look up their location through the My Voter Page on the Georgia Secretary of State's website.

Georgia law requires photo ID to vote in person. Acceptable forms include a Georgia driver's license (even if expired), a U.S. passport, a military ID and student IDs from Georgia public colleges. Voters unable to show ID may cast a provisional ballot; first-time voters must provide a copy of their ID to the county elections office within three days after the election for the ballot to count. Mail ballots must reach the county elections office by 7 p.m. on November 3.

The Election Protection multilingual hotline run by APIAVote, 1-888-274-8683 (1-888-API-VOTE), offers bilingual assistance including in Mandarin and Cantonese, and under Section 208 of the Voting Rights Act voters may also bring their own interpreter to the polls.
